Based on the VI Collection Percussion, this library contains the updated sample database of instruments recorded with the short and relatively dry surround sound of VSL's second studio, the Silent Stage. All drums and percussion instruments can therefore be placed in any acoustic environment and at any position in a room, from dry studios to concert halls to churches, such as those found in e.g. B. be made available by Vienna MIR Pro 3D.

There are tailor-made impulse responses for each instrument, so that they can be placed in the ideal position in the virtual Synchron Stage Vienna with a kick on the desired mixer preset. In the variants Close, Classic, Distant and with or without convolution reverb of the MIR technology, they ensure the perfect sound "out of the box" and thus fit seamlessly into the overall sound of the instruments of the Synchron Series, which are in the large Stage A of VSL's own and Hollywood-checked Scoring Stage.

The instruments of the SYNCHRON-ized Percussion Collection are grouped into six percussion packs, sold separately, that correspond to the instrument layout of the Synchron Percussion - with the same mappings to make it easier to try out and swap out instruments from both series. Compared to synchronous percussion, the instruments in the SYNCHRON-ized Percussion Collection were not only recorded in a different acoustic environment, they also come from different manufacturers, each with their own individual sound characteristics, and were played by different musicians. This great variety and flexibility makes the SYNCHRONized Percussion instruments a valuable addition to the Synchron Percussion Collections.

The entire pool of samples has been reprocessed and optimized for the Vienna Synchron Player and its expanded options and features. The volume and dynamic range of all articulations have been completely reworked, which ensures seamless and natural transitions when switching between different playing styles. Crescendo and diminuendo rolls from timpani, bass drum and taiko can now be played shorter than originally recorded because the Synchron Player automatically adds the appropriate release sample.

All instruments offer a wide range of richly sampled articulations, from single hits with different mallets to tremolos, crescendo and diminuendo rolls, grace notes and repetitions, depending on the playing possibilities and variations available for the instrument in question. Synchron Player's "Key Info" function makes it easy to find the articulation you are looking for and provides a good overview of the available mappings.

This product requires activation!

This can either be done on your computer (without additional hardware) or alternatively on an iLok USB dongle that can be purchased separately . The iLok USB dongle can be plugged into any computer in order to use the protected software on several computers. Your licenses can be managed as you like using the iLok License Manager and protected against loss or theft by additional insurance ( Zero Downtime with TLC ).

To activate the product you need an Internet connection on any computer and a free user account on www.ilok.com . Use the Vienna Assistant to download and install your software products and sample libraries authorized via iLok  .

Please check with the software manufacturer which iLok version is required as a minimum if you want to use a hardware iLok!
