Discover the expressive variety and flexibility of these string ensembles, whose large number of articulations impress with exceptional clarity and agility. The ensembles were recorded in the relatively dry and controlled acoustics of our second studio, the Silent Stage, and can therefore be placed in any virtual space. From the presence of close-miked instruments to the balanced sound of a scoring stage to the rich ambiance of large halls – these meticulously sampled strings are suitable for a wide range of musical genres and can be tailored to the requirements of various productions.

The ensembles feature the most renowned musicians from Vienna’s top orchestras, led by section leaders Christian Eisenberger, Anett Homoki, Rubén Dubrovsky, and Martin Deuring. The precision, emotion, and energy of their performances are felt in every note, adding depth and authenticity to your productions.

This collection is particularly distinguished by its impressive range of articulations – from precise, powerful staccatos with transients that easily cut through the mix, to a variety of long tones and legatos in all possible dynamic curves, as well as tone repetitions in different styles. You'll find portamentos, glissandos, fast scales, grace notes, and ornaments, along with a wide selection of trills. Additionally, there are the ethereal sounds of flautando, shimmering textures of harmonics, the velvety “con sordino” tones, and the sharp presence of sul ponticello techniques. This allows you to craft every conceivable detail of your composition with remarkable musicality and authenticity.
