Single Woodwind instrument for the Vienna Synchron Player

This library brings the basset horn from the VI Special Woodwinds Collection to the large hall (Stage A) of the Synchron Stage Vienna. The instrument has been reworked and optimized for the Vienna Synchron Player with regard to flexibility, balance and user-friendliness in order to enable quick and creative work.

The warm, full basset horn covers the alto / tenor register in the clarinet family and was one of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's favorite instruments.

The library offers a large selection of articulations that match the expressive possibilities of the instruments in the SYNCHRONIZED Woodwinds Collection. It includes various short and long tones, legato variants (including fast legatos with which trills can be played), dynamic playing styles such as crescendi and diminuendi, fp, sfz, sffz, pfp, flutter tongue, repetitions and more.

With the convolution reverb integrated in the Vienna Synchron Player, the relatively dry recorded instrument is optimally placed in the 540 m² Stage A of the Synchron Stage Vienna. The tailor-made mixer presets provide an immediately usable surround sound "out-of-the-box" and also fit perfectly with the instruments of the SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds Collection as well as with all other products of the Synchron Series.
