The Synchron Prime Edition contains everything you need to create orchestral arrangements that impress with breathtaking realism and emotionally charged sound. The powerful complete package with all solo instruments and ensembles of the large symphony orchestra has an additional user interface that offers you a completely new experience in making music: Flow!

The Flow View is an intuitive user interface that presents the most important controls of each instrument in a clear design and lets you easily get into the flow of playing. Simplified and automated articulation changes depending on your playing speed and velocity as well as simplified sound design allow you to concentrate fully on your creativity. If you need access to more parameters, simply switch to the Precision View - the previously available user interface of the Synchron Player with all its functions and design options.

The Synchron Prime Edition brings together the essential instruments and playing styles of the successful Synchron Series in a cost-effective and resource-saving collection that is extremely versatile and yet very easy to play. The package contains brilliant performances by the top soloists and ensembles of the Synchron Stage Orchestra, which records music daily for clients from Hollywood and around the world. As with film and TV music, the musicians were also recorded in the sampling sessions at the Synchron Stage Vienna with a large number of microphones, which means that the fantastic spatial sound of one of the best scoring stages in the world gives the recordings a very special dimension, clarity and depth.

Mixer presets or your own sound

All elements of this collection, from instruments to playing styles to sound presets, are so balanced and compatible that it is easy to create entire orchestral arrangements or even individual parts quickly and realistically. The mixer presets allow you to place the instruments and ensembles in many different settings, from closely miked solo instruments to different reverb lengths to wide and distant sounding ensembles. From there, you can create your own sound yourself by using the integrated mixer and the wealth of effects provided. Each instrument offers a standard room mix that combines the signals from the Decca tree and the surround microphones in a stereo signal, as well as the signal from a close microphone for solo instruments or at a medium distance for ensembles.

Compatibility with the major Synchron Collections

All patches are compatible with those in the Synchron Series Collections, so you can easily transfer your arrangements from the Synchron Prime Edition to the major libraries. The Synchron Prime Edition includes instruments from the Synchron Strings Pro, Synchron Elite Strings, Synchron Woodwinds, Synchron Brass, Synchron World Winds, Synchron Harp and Synchron Percussion collections. In addition, these Synchron Collections include compatibility presets that allow you to play back projects created with the Synchron Prime Edition without having to make any changes.

Integration with notation software

Expression maps for Cubase and Dorico, sound sets for Sibelius and presets for Finale and Notion can be found under “Additionals” in your Vienna Assistant.
