SDX NEW YORK STUDIOS VOL 3

This is the long-awaited continuation of Toontrack's New York Studios Legacy series, the aim of which was to capture drum recordings in New York's best studio spaces. This library was recorded in the famous Avatar Sudios (formerly known as The Power Station) with a large selection of different vintage and custom drums, whereby the session can be seen as the forerunner of the highly acclaimed core library of Toontrack's professional drum sampler flagship Superior Drummer, because it is was recorded with the engineer duo Neil Dorfsman and Pat Thrall as well as the drummer Nir Z by the same team in the legendary Avatar Studios.

The acoustic prerequisites for recording in the studio rooms of Avatar Studios are among the most excellent worldwide and the studios have received countless awards from the music industry. Since the opening in the 1970s, in addition to countless successful bands and artists, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Journey, Kings of Leon and The Clash have recorded here.

The drums of this library were recorded on a Neve 8068 console and signal chains with selected studio equipment (vintage and modern), the recording and mixing was carried out by an engineer / drummer team, who can draw on the wealth of experience of several decades of professional studio work. Each one of them has worked with successful artists from a wide variety of musical genres, from classic rock (Kiss, Meatloaf, Bruce Springsteen) to soul (Joss Stone, John Mayer) and modern pop (Beyoncé, Kate Perry).

• 1.5GB RAM (2GB RAM or more recommended)
• Requires an executable and registered installation of Superior Drummer®

This product does not contain drum sampler software.
An installed, authorized Superior Drummer®, updated to version 2.3, is required for operation.
