Ripple
1 Ripple brings a classic, rhythmic touch to sounds, mimicking tape flutter and vinyl pulses. Infuse your tracks with dynamic, vintage vibes akin to the fluttering of a tape.
2 Choose the fluctuation algorithm within Ripple Mode, with each option engineering a unique pattern of rhythmic modulation.
3 Control the Ripple effect’s stereo spread: fully separate stereo at 100% for an immersive sound, or unified mono at 0% for consistent channel influence.
Drift
1 Drift adds a fluid, wave-like volume modulation for a dreamy effect, creating an audio sensation of floating in space. Drift Amount controls the intensity of these oscillations, enhancing their presence.
2 Set the fluctuation algorithm for Drift Mode, where each selection configures a distinct oscillation pattern.
3 Adjust the Drift effect’s stereo reach: independent stereo modulations for dynamic speaker movement, or mono for a uniform soundstage effect.
Dropout
1 Dropout simulates the unpredictable volume dips of aged analog tapes, creating a unique texture as the sound seems to intermittently fade or be interrupted, reminiscent of time-worn hardware effects.
2 Select the fluctuation algorithm for Dropout Mode, where each option offers a distinct pattern of volume interruption.
Mix and Hiss
1 Add analog-modeled noise for a warm, subtle texture that complements your audio. Hiss enhances the vintage feel and creates a grainy ambiance, seamlessly blending with your music to evoke classic recording qualities.
2 The oscilloscope visually represents tape fluctuations from Ripple, Drift, and Dropout modes in real-time, allowing you to visually match what you hear with what you see across both channels.
3 The Mix control balances original and processed signals, ranging from 0% for natural sound to 100% for full effect. It enables subtle to major sound alterations, with the oscilloscope visually indicating the processing extent.
