The Blackbird 15/100 is the culmination of more than 25 years of Jensen’s Research & Development. It has been conceived for those “tone-connoisseurs” who seek nothing but the best. The Blackbird 15/100 is available only in the Raimondo Sbarbati’s Signature Edition, and only 100 hand-crafted units were ever made!
Featuring the Jensen’s exclusive “Reinforced AlNiCo” magnet design, the Blackbird 15/100 represents the ultimate Jensen voicing concept. The 15" cone grants a powerful depth in the bass range, and delivers a vocal, expressive midrange, with a delicate, yet chimey top end.
With an impressive dynamic range, paired with the sweet, progressive and musical compression typical of the best AlNiCo speakers, the Blackbird 15/100 is beautifully touch-responsive, and brilliantly suited to most applications from the cleanest, purest tones, up to all shades of punchy overdrive.
All these different personalities are brilliantly exploited by Overloud’s high-resolution capturing process, with 19 microphones in 16 positions each, mounted on a 1x15" open back cabinet.
FLUID IR NOW AVAILABLE WITHIN TH-U FOR ALL CABINETS AND SUPERCABINET IR LIBRARIES!
Overloud’s TH-U will be updated to v.1.4.26 with Fluid IR now available for all TH-U Cabinets and all SuperCabinet IR Libraries! Fluid IRs are an advanced form of impulse responses that offer more detailed sonic characteristics compared to traditional IRs. Unlike regular IRs that merely mimic a speaker's frequency response, Fluid IRs also reproduce the speaker's dynamic behavior and harmonics. This enhancement delivers a tone that is thicker, more lifelike, and direct, with better management of the bass frequencies.
As of version 1.4.26, all cabinets in TH-U and all of the SuperCabinet libraries have been upgraded to include Fluid IRs, which are provided to users as a free update.
Additionally, users have the option to upload their own conventional IRs into TH-U, taking advantage of Overloud's proprietary Fluid IR technology. This exciting feature utilizes an AI algorithm trained to transform your IRs by recreating their dynamic and harmonic responses.
