Powered by the award-winning Ivory 3 RGB engine , the instrument features groundbreaking Continuous Velocity technology for seamless velocity-to-timbre transitions. It features 4 stereo microphone positions for exceptional depth and presence, and a built-in mixer for precise control over the sound. The engine is also MIDI 2.0 capable and offers 65,536 levels of real-time velocity for detailed sonic expression.

Ivory 3 American Concert D is based on the critically acclaimed and award-winning technology of Synthogy's Ivory 3 platform. All the features of Ivory 3 are present here, along with full support and backwards compatibility for Ivory II pianos and presets.

• Continuous Velocity - The most important of these features is Ivory 3's Continuous Velocity to Timbre. The limitations of velocity layers or levels are a thing of the past. Continuous Velocity provides a real-time change from velocity to timbre at any velocity.

• MIDI 2.0 Ready - Whether your controller sends 127 MIDI 1.0 velocity values, 16,384 values ​​with MIDI (CC88) Velocity Extension, or 65,536 velocity values ​​with MIDI 2.0 16-bit High-Resolution Velocity , Ivory 3's Continuous Velocity feature ensures an infinitely smooth transition from velocity to timbre for each value sent. In musical terms, this means an infinite variety of timbres.

• Multiple Microphone Positions - Ivory 3's platform architecture includes multiple microphone perspectives, with multiple close, mid and ambient perspectives available. Each stereo microphone set is loaded and ready to use at the touch of a button. Each microphone can be routed, mixed and edited in real time via Ivory 3's powerful mixer.

• On-Board Mixer - Ivory 3's powerful on-board mixer equips each stereo channel with its own trim , gain , polarity inversion , 3-band EQ , compression , ambience , chorus/delay , balance , M/S processing , bus sends , plus multiple signal paths for parallel processing and more!

• Additional Synth Layers - Ivory 3 includes additional synth layers, including a beautiful Ensemble Strings sample from Audiobro. Additional synth layer features such as envelope attack control have been added to the synth layer section, in addition to a dedicated channel of the mixer for editing the synth layer with the full range of channel mixing and effects.

• Updated GUI - All features are accessible through Ivory 3's new graphical user interface . Ivory 3's graphical user interface has been redesigned from the ground up to be elegantly new. The main focus was to create an interface that is fun and easy to use, while providing a logical and ergonomic approach to the tremendous power of the Ivory 3 engine.

• Simplified Preset Structure - Ivory 3 also provides a simplified preset structure that makes it easier to save and recall your custom presets. What were once separate presets for Programs , Effects , and Sessions in Ivory 2 have been incorporated into the single Design Preset . At the same time, the Ivory 3 engine will support all your old Ivory II presets and libraries for full backward compatibility !

• Simplified preset structure - Ivory 3 also offers a simplified preset structure that makes it easier to save and recall your own presets. What were separate presets for programs , effects and sessions in Ivory 2 are now combined in a single design preset . At the same time, the Ivory 3 engine supports all old Ivory II presets and libraries and is therefore fully backwards compatible !

• Backwards compatible - Ivory 3 American Concert D is a standalone virtual instrument, so no previous version of Ivory is required. Owners of Ivory II will find that the instrument installs seamlessly into their current library. All previous Ivory II libraries, presets and projects will open in the Ivory 3 engine and environment.
