Fuse has an obsessively accurate recreation of the transformer harmonic generation feature, using Overloud's revered Harmonic Matching Technology. It also offers features not available in the hardware such as:

  • Internal operating level calibration
  • Multilevel undo-redo
  • Built-in Mid-Side matrix 

Pushing Emulation to a New Level

Transformer-based analog circuits are renowned for their musical harmonics and their ability to deliver a deep, warm bass response, yet they have always been challenging to emulate. Their harmonic structure is frequency-dependent, generating more harmonics in the low end while introducing a phase shift in the higher frequencies.

In addition, transformers exhibit a form of “memory,” meaning their harmonic response changes according to the audio that has occurred in the preceding milliseconds—an effect that plays a significant role in transient processing. This is where most of the digital emulations fail, even the "official" ones. The FUSE uses the Overloud's unique Harmonic Matching Technology to recreate the original coloration in a way that has never been possible before.

Whether mixing or mastering, Overloud's Fuse will add so much character, depth, and luster to your sound, you may never produce without it!

Six Processors, One Plugin

Analog Preamp

The Analog Preamp adds subtle coloration to your tone by emulating the behavior of a classic discrete circuit design. It’s paired with a discrete low-cut filter featuring a “Fat” option, which cleans up unwanted sub-bass while preserving a deep, warm low-end character.

Analog Drive

Analog Drive is a harmonic enhancement processor that brings glue and weight to your mix. Its Drive and Density controls work together to create rich harmonic saturation and gentle compression by pushing an analog-style circuit. Use it lightly for smooth thickening, or push it harder for an aggressive, harmonically dense tone.

Indigo EQ

The Indigo EQ is a minimum phase-shift, two-band shelving EQ. Its carefully tuned frequency and phase curves deliver a musical, intuitive tool for quickly shaping low-end weight and adding silky high-end sheen.

HF Smoother

HF Smoother is a dynamic high-frequency processor that recreates the distinctive soft rounding of highs found in analog gear. Acting as a high-frequency-only compressor, it’s optimized for transparent harshness reduction and introduces a tape-like roll-off—perfect for taming brittle fizz and adding smoothness.

Stereo Image

Stereo Image is an enhancer based on the “Stereo Shuffling” technique. It allows you to widen or narrow the stereo field with frequency-dependent precision, opening up creative possibilities for depth and space in your mix.

Transformer

The Transformer emulates a 600-ohm, 1:1 under-damped transformer circuit that introduces subtle low-frequency saturation along with a natural high-frequency phase shift. The result is a thicker, weightier low end paired with added sparkle in the highs.

Beyond The Original Hardware

FUSE extends the original hardware features and combines the flexibility of the digital world with the character of analog processing.

Built-In Mid-Side Matrix

The built-in Mid-Side matrix lets you process the center and stereo image separately with different settings—no need for external routing or complex setups.

Extended Features

Additional controls expand the capabilities of each processor, offering flexibility and creative options beyond what the original hardware could provide.

Unit Calibration

You can select the unit calibration to change the harmonic generation.

APPLE SYSTEM COMPATIBILITY

Voice is available as AudioUnit, VST, AAX64 (ProTools 11 and Above) plugins, as well as a standalone application.

From version 1.1.4 only 64bit are natively supported for macOS 10.15 Catalina compatibility. You can authorize Voice on up to three computers that you own and one USB stick with a simple one-click software procedure (no hardware key needed).
