FUTURE PUNK EVOLUTION – MINI PACK FOR OMNISPHERE

Future Punk Evolution is a Mini Pack of sounds that represent this new and rising genre of electronic music. Sound designer Agent Method is the leading figure behind the new Future Punk genre that blends elements of punk aesthetics with futuristic themes revolving around advanced technology, cybernetics, and societal upheaval. The sound is characterized by the gritty, dystopian tone often associated with defiance against oppressive systems.

This collection of patches for Spectrasonics Omnisphere brings you blistering synths (bass, lead, poly, BPM), noises and FX, drums, percussion, and guitar, created with all the explosive DSP that Omnisphere has in its toolbox, as well as imported, original sound recordings. While the patches in Future Punk Evolution focus on Future Punk, they can easily transcend into other genres, lending themselves to a wide variety of compositional applications from drum and bass to film score.

Every patch in Future Punk Evolution is meticulously designed with hours of dedication, crafted using carefully selected filters, modulation, and effects, all individually forged to inspire you. Further, every patch includes modulation wheel assignments for more expressive control. In many instances aftertouch adds another facet to your playing experience.

About the Sound Designer

Agent Method's sonic journey was first shaped by the gritty, heartfelt tones of the DMV’s pop-punk, emo, and rock scene of the mid-late 90’s and early 2000s. Drawing from that angst and fusing it with the wall-shattering bass energy of modern genres like dubstep (melodic/tearout/riddim), future bass/trap EDM, and neon-drenched synthwave, he’s currently concocting a genre hybrid he calls "future punk."

Agent Method has worked with artists such as Illenium, David Banner, IVEEN, Lenny Kravitz, Mayday Parade, CASTER, Usher, Drake, T.I., Yelawolf, Iggy Azalea, Dizzee Rascal, and many others. When he’s not sculpting sounds, engineering sessions for artists, or mixing remixes for labels - he’s hard at work learning, crafting, and building effects and plugins of his own chaotic invention.

Important: Omnisphere version 2.8 or higher is required.
