EZX METAL MACHINE 2

Modern Metal Drum Sounds by Andy Sneap

Metal Machine 2 EZX brings the unmistakable drum sound of producer and engineer Andy Sneap back in a completely new sample expansion for EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3. Recorded at Sneap's own Backstage Recording Studio, the library delivers powerful, precise, and mix-ready drums for classic heavy metal, progressive metal, and modern extreme metal.

The expansion includes three complete drum kits from different decades, each with its own distinct character - from a massive 1990s six-tom kit with four octobans to a darker 2010s setup and the sharp, focused attack of a pristine 2020s kit.

With a total of 5 kicks, 15 snares, 15 toms, 4 octobans, 19 cymbals, and 3 hi-hat sets, Metal Machine 2 EZX offers a wide range of metal drum tones. The drums were sampled by Dan Wilding of Carcass, who also contributed a collection of around 350 MIDI grooves and fills.

Mix-Ready for Powerful Productions

More than 25 mix presets created by Andy Sneap and the Toontrack sound design team provide instant starting points for your productions. Several presets also combine the recorded drums with carefully blended one-shot layers for additional attack, weight, and clarity in dense guitar mixes.
