When The Who released "Tommy" in the late 1960s, the band, with their storytelling focused on concrete characters and their illustrious foray into numerous genres, simultaneously opened a whole new chapter in music history: modern rock opera was born. From now on, a long-player album could move far away from mainstream musical conventions and still be extremely successful commercially. Since then, rock opera has established itself as an integral part of the genre kaleidoscope, both on numerous album productions and on the stadium stages of the world.

This EZkeys MIDI pack is inspired by the great music of the numerous dramaturgically conceived rock albums and musicals that have been created over the past few decades. Inspiring piano parts with surprising harmonic and melodic twists, courageous modulations, indentations and a good dose of drama and pathos!
