Few instruments have left such an indelible mark on music history that they have become as famous as some of the songs that were created on them. The Hammond organ is undoubtedly one of these instruments. Since its inception, it has nurtured generations of new musicians and profoundly influenced the development of everything from gospel, jazz and blues to funk, prog, rock and the many varieties of modern music today. That's why we are very proud to now have this instrument available in our "EZkeys 2 family".

For the sounds, the Toontrack team scoured the market for a magnificent original, well-maintained and transparent-sounding organ, from which all of its 90+ spinning tonewheels were carefully sampled. For the library, these recordings were seamlessly combined with advanced modeling of the organ's tone and all of its distinctive features such as key clicks, percussion, vibrato and chorus. Added to this is the flawless recreation of a typical rotating speaker, recorded with more than 120 individual impulse responses, guaranteeing an extremely realistic sound experience. In addition to the sampled sounds and effects, the EKX library also contains a wealth of ready-to-mix presets for all major styles, genres and sounds, as well as a comprehensive collection of outstanding organ MIDI performances. Paired with the powerful functionality of EZkeys 2, the EKX session organ is much more than just a sample organ - it is a perfect tool for creative songwriting and new musical ideas.

Please note: This EKX sound library extension for EZkeys 2 can only be loaded and used with EZkeys 2 as the player software/main program. EZkeys 1 is not supported!
