Small but nice

The piccolo trumpet has all the typical sound characteristics of the trumpet, but is brighter and clearer than the trumpet in C. Today it is mainly used in orchestras when trumpet parts are permanently in very high registers - for example in baroque clarino parts in compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Friedrich Handel.

Versatile and expressive

This library offers a complete set of expressive and dynamic articulations: short and long notes, legato (including fast legato), crescendos and decrescendos, sfz, sffz, pfp, flutter tongue, and half and whole tone trills. Thanks to the dry recording in the Silent Stage, the sounds can be precisely placed virtually in the stereo panorama and in any room. In addition, the internal convolution reverb with impulses from Stage A of the Vienna Synchron Stage enables the instruments placed there to sound perfectly together with those of the Synchron Series.
