Synchron Pianos Bundle - Five magnificent grand pianos

This bundle contains six extraordinary pianos that were recorded in Stage A and Stage B of the Synchron Stage Vienna.

Synchron Concert D-274 contains recordings of a Steinway & Sons D-274 Hamburg model recorded in the large Stage A of the Synchron Stage Vienna. With a length of 2.74 m and a weight of almost 500 kg, it represents the top model in the flagship series of the world-renowned piano manufacturer. The D-274 unfolds its full tonal expressiveness in particular in interaction with orchestras and impresses with its assertiveness, which is hardly surprising with a soundboard area of ​​almost two square meters. Over 4000 samples per key and almost 20,000 samples per microphone position ensure maximum authenticity and liveliness!

The Yamaha CFXis a handmade grand piano and represents the culmination of the company's piano-making tradition. It was recorded in Stage A of the Synchron Stage Vienna with over 4,200 samples per key. Its unmistakable sound can be described as precise, bright, clear, powerful and assertive, which means that the instrument can be used in a wide range of classical, romantic or contemporary music, from solo works to chamber music to the large piano concertos with orchestra. Yamaha's award-winning "Disklavier ENSPIRE PRO" recording and playback system ensured the highest precision, resolution and consistency throughout the recording process. Six preconfigured presets (“Concert”, “Intimate”, “Player”, “Pop”, “Ambience”, “Mighty”) are available in the main menu,

The Blüthner 1895is a particularly magnificent example of the Leipzig piano manufacturer and its famous "golden sound". The painstakingly restored instrument features the specially developed and patented "aliquot stringing", which uses additional resonance sides in the treble range and leads to a particularly lyrical, warm, rich sound that is rich in overtones. The grand piano was included in Stage B of the Synchron Stage Vienna and is a suitable alternative, especially for soloists who are looking for a slightly different, personal piano sound. The Blüthner is versatile, ideal for song accompaniment and chamber music, but also for pop songs and ballads where other concert grands sound too big and intrusive. Presets like "Intimate" or "Vintage" underline this special quality even more.

Viennese piano building tradition

The Bösendorfer Grand Upright 130 is the result of almost two centuries of grand piano construction. Although it is a piano in construction, it convinces with the fine nuances and the powerful bass of a grand piano. Its sound is clear and unadulterated, without additional colors due to the structural size of a concert grand piano.

The Bösendorfer Concert Grand 290 Imperial is the flagship of piano construction and the musical legacy of the traditional Austrian piano factory. Its nine sub-basses extend the range of the instrument to eight octaves up to sub-contra-C. Even if the additional bass strings are not played, they are vibrated indirectly when played and, together with the enormously large soundboard, project an orchestral sound whose warmth and richness is unparalleled.

In Bösendorfer's 280VC "Vienna Concert" the know-how from a century of the most demanding piano building tradition merges with the latest development technologies to create a concert grand piano of the next generation. The piano was designed from scratch, but consistently continues Bösendorfer's sound philosophy and central construction processes such as the resonance box principle.
