The Concert D is a masterpiece in sound and design. To capture it with all its nuances, the VSL developers have constructed a high-precision system that uses a magnet to silently transfer all movements to a "robot finger". This micro-controller controls the finger with almost superhuman precision and covers all attack and release curves, i.e. the different speeds when releasing a key. Even though this "Essentials" version contains fewer velocity layers than the Premium Collection of the Synchron Concert D-274, the realism of this grand piano is still breathtaking. The room in which it was recorded also contributes significantly to this - with its warm, intense and natural acoustics, this Stage A of the Vienna Synchron Stage is the perfect environment for the majestic Steinway D-274.
