STUDIO OBOE DA CACCIA
This library brings the oboe da caccia from the VI Historic Winds I Collection to the large hall (Stage A) of the Synchron Stage Vienna. It has been redesigned and optimized for the Vienna Synchron Player with regard to flexibility, balance and user-friendliness in order to enable rapid and creative work.
The oboe da caccia ("hunting oboe") covers the alto register of the baroque oboe and is similar to the hunting horn in terms of both its curved design and the relatively large brass bells. The instrument is tuned in F and thus sounds a fifth lower than the oboe. Bach calls for an oboe da caccia in many of his cantatas and passions (including the Christmas Oratorio). The English horn is the direct successor.
With the convolution reverb integrated into the Vienna Synchron Player, the relatively dry recorded instrument is optimally placed in the 540 m² Stage A of the Synchron Stage Vienna. The tailor-made mixer presets deliver out-of-the-box spatial sound and are a perfect match for the instruments in the SYNCHRON-ized Woodwinds Collection as well as all other products in the Synchron Series .
