Chris Hein's Winds Ensemble Collection brings authentic woodwind ensembles to your studio computer. Whether you're composing for a film, a concert hall or a big band, this library impresses with its unparalleled clarity, depth and expressiveness.

Get the characteristic sounds of flutes, oboes, clarinets and bassoons directly on your hard drive. The included ensembles can be perfectly combined with the CH-Wind solo instruments and fit perfectly into any musical context.

Perfectly coordinated individual shots

Instead of using ensemble recordings, Chris Hein's Wind Ensembles were developed using over 88,000 perfectly coordinated individual recordings of soloists, which were combined in post-production to create expressive ensembles. This gives you full control over the mood, timing and character of each instrument, resulting in a precise and detailed sound.

The performances have been carefully de-tuned, timed and stereo-panned to create a warm and rich orchestral sound that will add that extra something to your productions. Choose between “small” and “large” ensembles for maximum flexibility.

All of the instruments included were professionally recorded in a dry environment to capture the full sound characteristics of each instrument. This gives you complete freedom in post-production and allows you to use different types of reverb without the spatial sound of the recording getting in the way. Thanks to the two integrated convolution reverb effects, you can shape the sound as you need it for your compositions.
