Recorded in its purest form on the Silent Stage, this instrument captivates with restrained expressiveness and shines in projects of various genres.

Velvety textures

The muted sound of the C trumpet exudes mystery and sophistication. The sound not only becomes quieter, but also opens up completely new tonal colors and expression possibilities. The subtle, characteristic textures of this instrument make it an integral part of film music productions and also invite improvised introspection in the jazz area.

Steamed Essence

All articulations were recorded using a specially adapted mute that meets the highest sonic requirements. The recordings were made in the Silent Stage, VSL's second studio with controlled acoustics that allowed the team to optimally capture the essence and purity of the sound of a masterfully played, muted trumpet.

Versatile and expressive

A wide range of articulations - including staccatos, legatos, flutter tongues, trills and much more - shows the versatility of the C trumpet in all its facets. Thanks to the dry recording in the Silent Stage, the sounds can be precisely placed in the stereo panorama and virtually in any room. In addition, the internal convolution reverb with impulses from Stage A of the Vienna Synchron Stage enables the instruments placed there to sound perfectly together with those of the Synchron Series.
