This collection makes the Vienna Whistler from Vienna Symphonic Library's VI series available for the Vienna Synchron Player with its expanded capabilities. In order to improve the authenticity, user-friendliness and flexibility of this artificial whistling library, the entire sample database has been completely revised, optimized and reworked for VSL's own sample player.

Marcus Schmidinger, who as a virtuoso horn player contributed a large number of solo and ensemble performances to the VI Series Collections Brass I, Brass II and Epic Horns, turned out to be a great artistic whistler with an extremely homogeneous sound and a large pitch range of approx. 2 octaves. His whistling performances were recorded in VSL's second studio, the Silent Stage, which is characterized by a short, controlled spatial sound and was specially built for sample recordings. The relatively dry recorded samples can be placed in any virtual acoustic environment.

With the reverb and placement presets included in Synchron Player, you can place the piper at the left, center and right positions in the main hall of Synchron Stage Vienna, with options like "close", "classic" or "distant".

Turning off the Vienna Synchron Player's built-in convolution and algorithmic reverb lets you place the whistler in any virtual acoustic environment, from shower stalls to cathedrals, from the highly authentic rooms of the Vienna MIR Pro 3D to artificial reverb and echo chambers. Effects. You will also find a large number of FX presets in the mixer preset menu of the Vienna Synchron Player.

The SYNCHRON-ized Whistler Collection contains a wide range of articulations that have been prepared for the Vienna Synchron Player: In addition to short and long tones with and without vibrato, there are legati and fast legati, portamenti, glissandi, trills, bends, falls and much more.

This can either be done on your computer (without additional hardware) or alternatively on an iLok USB dongle that can be purchased separately . The iLok USB dongle can be plugged into any computer in order to use the protected software on several computers. Your licenses can be managed as you like using the iLok License Manager and protected against loss or theft by additional insurance ( Zero Downtime with TLC ).

To activate the product you need an internet connection on any computer and a free user account on www.ilok.com . Use the Vienna Assistant to download and install your software products and sample libraries authorized via iLok  .

Please check with the software manufacturer which iLok version is required as a minimum if you want to use a hardware iLok!
